I’m very thankful for life.  Summary”: Today was a fairly easy class period. We continued to finish our group projects on the short story. We recorded and added our voices to each slide. Afterwards we just chilled for the rest of the period.  Reflection: I learned a lot about success from this short story. I learned that success can be perceived  and seen in many different ways. There is not only ONE definition to success, but many definitions to what success means. I liked this lesson a lot, ...

Until I finally had too.  Summary: Today in class we continued to work on our group project. We were interrupted half walk way through the class period when the power went out. It was out all over the school and out in the whole area. It was so dark in that room we had to switch rooms to one with windows.  Reflection: Today, I don’t really have a reflection because we didn’t really do work besides started our projects before the power and WiFi went out.

I learned that India is estimated to have around 1.4 billion people, which is greater than ...

So I saw a group of girls, they were white. The game they were playing looked really funny and I wanted to join in on the fun. So I ran over to them and they just stopped and staring at me in means ways and asked me why was I over there, they don’t want to play with me. I told my mom about it and she said they were probably racist and judging me because of my color that I was darker than them. Next we watched a video on how they shake their head when speaking with someone. They do it as a form of communication if they don’t feel like speaking. They acknowledge each other with it such as they say thank you with wobbling their hands and they say yes and no and many other things.
