Write about a truth you were afraid to accept

 Prompt response: A truth that I was afraid to accept was that my grandma is actually dead. I didn’t wanna believe it because she was one of my best friends. It was hard accepting it. Until I finally had too. 

Summary: Today in class we continued to work on our group project. We were interrupted half walk way through the class period when the power went out. It was out all over the school and out in the whole area. It was so dark in that room we had to switch rooms to one with windows. 


Reflection: Today, I don’t really have a reflection because we didn’t really do work besides started our projects before the power and WiFi went out.

Which time do you prefer the most and why, Daylights savings time or Standard time?

 Prompt Response: I prefer standard time. Simply because we loose an hour of sleep and I love sleeping. Daylight savings time is a grid idea but can cause less sleep for people who are not prepared for it. I think that switching the time twice in a year will mess up people’s sleep schedule and cause potential health problems.  Summary: Today was a virtual day yayyy😁. Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you. (January 14th)

 Prompt Response: An object that holds sentimental value to me is my journal. It’s very important to me because I write every single th8ng in there and it holds every chapter to my life and all the horrible but also good things that I’ve experienced at such a young age. My journal keeps me going everyday. To keep pushing because god has a plan for my life and I intended to live up to that plan.  Summary: Today we read a couple of Chapters of “The Color Purple” book. We then had a worksheet to complete on some of the characters and their relationships. Reflection: i learned a lot from the worksheet we completed.
