Write about what you are thankful for

 Prompt response: I am thankful to be alive. I could have died in that car accident but god saw differently, he wants me to live. I am so very grateful to be given another chance at life. I am thankful to wake up everyday and be able to breathe correctly, wake up everyday seeing my parents faces and my siblings faces. I’m thankful for my mom and all my craziness’s she puts up with. I’m very thankful for life. 

Summary”: Today was a fairly easy class period. We continued to finish our group projects on the short story. We recorded and added our voices to each slide. We collaborated and worked together as a team to get the job done. When we finished we submitted. Afterwards we just chilled for the rest of the period. 

Reflection: I learned a lot about success from this short story. I learned that success can be perceived  and seen in many different ways. There is not only ONE definition to success, but many definitions to what success means. I liked this lesson a lot, definitely got the brain thinking. My overall day was great.

Which time do you prefer the most and why, Daylights savings time or Standard time?

 Prompt Response: I prefer standard time. Simply because we loose an hour of sleep and I love sleeping. Daylight savings time is a grid idea but can cause less sleep for people who are not prepared for it. I think that switching the time twice in a year will mess up people’s sleep schedule and cause potential health problems.  Summary: Today was a virtual day yayyy😁. We had an assignment on Newsela about Daylight Savings time. The article discussed when daylight savings time was implemented first during world war 1 to conserve energy and fuel consumption. It talks about how The United States uses daylight savings time but Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it. Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you. (January 14th)

 Prompt Response: An object that holds sentimental value to me is my journal. It’s very important to me because I write every single th8ng in there and it holds every chapter to my life and all the horrible but also good things that I’ve experienced at such a young age. My journal keeps me going everyday. To keep pushing because god has a plan for my life and I intended to live up to that plan.  Summary: Today we read a couple of Chapters of “The Color Purple” book. We then had a worksheet to complete on some of the characters and their relationships. Reflection: i learned a lot from the worksheet we completed.
