What steps can you take now to prepare for a career that pays more than minimum wage? Think about education, skill-building, job research, and networking. Which steps are most important for you right now?

 Prompt Response: Firsr you should finish high school, consider college or trade school, take relevant classes to gain success and knowledge or the career. You need to also develop hard skills like welding or graphic  need to be able to correctly use online resources and lastly you need some soft skills as well such as communication, problem solving and teamwork. Also it’s good to attend some career fairs.

Summary: Today was a pretty chill day today. Today we watched a Video on a women living off of a $7.50 minimum wage pay. She has a son and her baby’s father is in jail. She works at McDonald where she makes $7.50 an hour. She is sometimes delayed of working due to high factors like high labor or full schedule. She has a hard life with financial issues and she doesn't have a budget plan. Next we shared answers if the follow up questions from the video. Last.g we ended class by completing our blog posts for today. 

Reflection: I can take today lesson with me throughout life.but most importantly I need this lesson for my current life. If I want to be successful and be well off wealthy enough sustain  myself without any issues then I need to get a good education and a good partime or full time high paying job. Try not to stick to minimum wage 7.50 wage jobs. Don’t have kids early and stay focused on your life goal and decision making.

Describe something that you will never fully understand

 Prompt response: Something that I will never fully understand is math. I personally think it’s so dumb and that we won’t sue any of these math problems in real life. The problems are often really hard to solve too. Summary: TODAY WAS FINAL DAY!!!!! I was truly nerves. I had been studying all day and brushing up on the past things we had been learning all year. The test was fairly easy. Some questions did puzzle me and were a little tricky. But I found out I got a 85 on it so yayyy me.  Reflection: Today we took our final and I got to refresh my brain on symbolism, free verse, personification and a recap of the Fences book we read. It was great know.edge poured back into me to remember.

Write about a place you never wanted to leave.

 Prompt response: A place I have never wanted to leave was botanical gardens when I was younger. I felt so magical and at ease there. It was so beautiful and I begged my mom to let us stay longer. I felt as if I was one with nature.  Today in class we started to learn about Indian culture. We watched two videos about things that they do in their culture. Such as how they eat with their hands and not with forks and spoons. Also learned how they only eat with their right hand and the left hand is used for other services. Next we watched a video on how they shake their head when speaking with someone. They do it as a form of communication if they don’t feel like speaking.
