Write about a special holiday memory

 Prompt Reponse: A special holiday memory for me was when I was living in Alabama at the time with my dad. It was one Christmas holiday were he bought me a 4-wheeler after I had been as,ong for so long. That Christmas was so magical and special and I was highly appreciative of my gift. I loved that Christmas very much. 

Summary: Mr. Rease was absent again today so we had another substitute. The work was pretty easy. Same as yesterday’s work but a bit shorter. 

Reflection: I learned about the value of self worth throughout these letters.

Which time do you prefer the most and why, Daylights savings time or Standard time?

 Prompt Response: I prefer standard time. Simply because we loose an hour of sleep and I love sleeping. Daylight savings time is a grid idea but can cause less sleep for people who are not prepared for it. I think that switching the time twice in a year will mess up people’s sleep schedule and cause potential health problems.  Summary: Today was a virtual day yayyy😁. We had an assignment on Newsela about Daylight Savings time. The article discussed when daylight savings time was implemented first during world war 1 to conserve energy and fuel consumption. It talks about how The United States uses daylight savings time but Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it. Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you. (January 14th)

 Prompt Response: An object that holds sentimental value to me is my journal. It’s very important to me because I write every single th8ng in there and it holds every chapter to my life and all the horrible but also good things that I’ve experienced at such a young age. My journal keeps me going everyday. To keep pushing because god has a plan for my life and I intended to live up to that plan.  Summary: Today we read a couple of Chapters of “The Color Purple” book. We then had a worksheet to complete on some of the characters and their relationships. Reflection: i learned a lot from the worksheet we completed. I learned what power dynamics are and how they affect characters decisions and actions.
