Write about a fear you have overcome (1day late)

 Prompt response: a fear that I have overcome is heights. I’m not scared of it anymore, it’s actually quite peaceful. 

Summary: today was an easy class period. We continued working on the 2 minute project we started on the color purple book. We did this for the rest of the class period. 

Reflection: my reflection is getting to understand the book on a deep level and try to understand her emotions and what went on and how her childhood was traumatic.

Which time do you prefer the most and why, Daylights savings time or Standard time?

 Prompt Response: I prefer standard time. Simply because we loose an hour of sleep and I love sleeping. Daylight savings time is a grid idea but can cause less sleep for people who are not prepared for it. I think that switching the time twice in a year will mess up people’s sleep schedule and cause potential health problems.  Summary: Today was a virtual day yayyy😁. We had an assignment on Newsela about Daylight Savings time. The article discussed when daylight savings time was implemented first during world war 1 to conserve energy and fuel consumption. Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you. (January 14th)

 Prompt Response: An object that holds sentimental value to me is my journal. It’s very important to me because I write every single th8ng in there and it holds every chapter to my life and all the horrible but also good things that I’ve experienced at such a young age. My journal keeps me going everyday. To keep pushing because god has a plan for my life and I intended to live up to that plan.  Summary: Today we read a couple of Chapters of “The Color Purple” book. We then had a worksheet to complete on some of the characters and their relationships. Reflection: i learned a lot from the worksheet we completed.
