Write about a dream that felt real

 Prompt response: A dream that I had that felt real was when I was with family and I surprised my mom and bout her a house after I got my hands on a stash of cash. I nought brand new car and took us  all on vacation.

Summary: Today in class we read a couple of chapters of the Color Purple. We read about Hiw Sofia doesn’t feel sexual desires towards Mr._____ and she decides to leave Mr for a while and stay with her sister. We also learn that Sofia Beats him and she doesn’t mind him and he wants her too.

Reflection: From these chapters teaches you that if you love someone then y’all shouldn’t be beating on each other because that’s not true love. No matter how bad the argument y’all shouldn’t put your hands on each other , to just walk away from the situation until things cool off.

 Prompt response : A time that I realized at the way I viewed a certain group of people was shared by stereotypes without me noticing was when I was younger maybe middle school.  Prompt Response: A film that portrays my culture is the Pixar movie “Soul”, this movies portrays aspects of black African American culture. This film captures the vibrancy of black culture through its depiction jazz, barbershop culture and community life in New York. Soul introduces global audiences to the richness of black culture in a way that is both respectful and celebratory.  Summary: Today was an easy class. Today our task was to present our project on cultural and their stereotypes negative and positive. As I watched everyone’s presentation I learned a lot about the dangers of a single story.  Prompt: One of the most beautiful creations in the world, to me is the night sky. Whether it’s seen from a white countryside or a mountain peak far from city lights , the endless stretch of stars, planets, and galaxies is breathtaking. There’s so,tho g humbling about looking up and realizing how vast and mysterious the unvierse is. The way the stars twinkle and the moon glows. It feels really magical. It’s a strong sense of peace.  Summary: Today was good day tomorrow will be better. Today we pretty chill. We completed an Commonlit about Tigers. We answered the 3 multiple choice questions. Then completed the 2 constructed responses afterwards. We ended the class with completing our blog posts.  Reflection: Todays assignments made me think deeply.
